Cheryl Sosnowski is a life-long learner, world traveler, loving mother, and successful artist + entrepreneur living in Phoenix, Arizona. She overcame severe adverse childhood experiences and brings her knowledge of authentic healing to others. She has practiced meditation for more than 20 years and is a graduate of UCLA’s Intensive Mindfulness Practice Program, as well as a graduate of MindfulSchools mindfulness and teacher certification training. She has also gone through MBSR and MBSC trainings. She has taught since 2014, leading sitting groups, class series and creative retreats. She has collaborated with the non-profit community bringing mindfulness training and healing art projects to at-risk youth, and is currently getting her MBSR-T (mindfulness based stress reduction for teens)training. (2017). As a former at risk teen herself, this is where her heart is.

Cheryl's number one character trait is "love of learning" and she does!  She loves neuroscience and is trained in interpersonal neurobiology and is passionate about keeping up with the latest research pertaining to mindfulness, art for healing and meditation. Cheryl is a visual artist who personally creates mindful art for mindful spaces, and is interested in continually exploring the intersection of the arts and mindfulness as a form of meditation, healing and personal growth both for herself and others.

She leads corporate creativity team-building workshops and mindfulness workshops for corporate stress management. She is the founder and lead facilitator at Create Space Studio in Scottsdale Arizona which brings art for mindfulness to everyone brave enough to explore the universe within, and is the Director of Corporate Partnerships at Mindfulness First, where she also sits on the Board of Directors. She is also a dedicated and passionate volunteer for Free Arts for Abused Children in Arizona.
