Jon Kabat Zinn said that anytime an individual brings his or her attention to the present moment with curiosity, openness, and/or acceptance, then they are practicing mindfulness. The practice is to bring you present, so that you can create awareness around the thoughts and emotional reactions you are having. And if your thoughts are hurting or disempowering you - change them! You CAN change your mind. Until an empowering mindset becomes your new habit mindset.
