The Best Way to Begin...is to Begin!

At the start of a painting it's important to not give it too much thought or judgment - but instead just have fun laying down some marks and some colors - these will become layers beneath the next payers so you really can just let go and have fun at this stage!

Here I am using cold wax + oils on Arches oil paper. I lay that on a big sheet of foam board which is light and portable! I then made marks with different mark making items. Oh, and my studio dog Nama is always hanging around me. Have fun!!!
